Skin Care Mask Recipes for Oily and Dry Skin

Skin Care Mask Recipes

Skin Care Mask Recipes: For many years, spas have been offering facials to their clientele who are looking to address a myriad of skin issues from loss of radiance to blemish prone skin and more.

However, going to a spa for a treatment can get very expensive. Why not just do it yourself, when there are products that you can use at home?

Doing an at home facial gives you a touch of feeling like you are at a spa without the cost associated with it.

Here are some great recipes for masks:

Skin Care Mask Recipe for Dry Skin

Ingredients

  • Oatmeal – 1/2 cup
  • Natural Yogurt – 1 cup
  • Honey – 2 tablespoons

* Mix ingredients in a bowl until it forms a thick paste.

* Apply to the face using clean hands, avoiding the eyes and mouth.

* Let sit for 15 minutes.

* Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

Why oatmeal?

Oatmeal is an important ingredient in many hydrating masks and products because it is filled with skin-hydrating polysaccharides.

These form an invisible, protective barrier on the skin even after the oatmeal has been rinsed off.

It is always suggested to pat your skin dry after an oatmeal mask because it helps that barrier stay in place longer. “Skin Care Mask Recipes”
