DIY Homemade Spa Recipes

DIY Homemade Spa Recipes are the perfect antidote to the harmful chemicals that attack us on a daily basis.

It’s important to keep in mind that skin is actually one large, living, external organ. One of its primary purposes is to provide protection for the body.

But, the skin itself needs protection in this modern world.

There are several contributing factors to premature aging. Environmental pollution, food additives and toxic chemicals in commercial skin care products are among the biggest culprits.

Yes, you read that right – skin care products! Although they’re supposed to deliver beauty benefits, many of today’s retail beauty products are causing both subliminal and obvious damage to the skin.

It’s important to pay attention to the ingredients that make up the lotions, creams and moisturizers used on your skin. Even face masks can contain toxins that are detrimental and cause premature aging.

So, in essence, some harmful beauty products contribute to the skin problems they’re supposed to remedy.. It’s a never-ending cycle and there’s only one way out – DIY Home Made Spa Recipes!

It’s time to take control over what touches your skin. One way to accomplish this is to make your own natural, toxin-free beauty and spa treatments. It’s not hard to do.

Try it and you’ll be amazed at how easy and economical it is. For instance, let’s start out with a very natural facial mask that will nourish and soothe your skin.

Just as eating carrots is good for your vision, applying this carrot mask to your face will leave your skin feeling softer and well-nourished.

Mix all of the following together::

  • 1 Large Carrot – Boil it until it’s soft..
  • 1 Ripe Avocado – Peeled and mashed.
  • Raw Honey – 4 Tablespoons
  • Cooking Cream – 4 Ounces

That’s it – you’re done! What could be more simple?

Apply the carrot/avocado mixture as evenly as possible to your entire face, extending it downward to your neck.

Go ahead and coat the entire neck with the DIY CARROT MASK, if you want to expand the spa-at-home experience. Pamper yourself!

Leave the Refreshing Carrot Facial Mask on your skin for at least 20 minutes and up to half an hour. Rinse it completely with chilled, filtered water for an extra-indulgent treat!

This closes and seals your facial pores and leaves your skin looking healthy and energized. Gently pat dry.

Mother Nature successfully tackles those annoying fine eye lines with a winning combination of just two natural ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cucumber – Use the pulse setting on your food processor to get chunky results.
  • 1/2 Cup Aloe Vera Gel (or juice extract)

Mix them well and then carefully apply the mixture around the eyes. Leave it for about half an hour before completely rinsing it away. Gently pat dry.

Not only do the fine eye lines seem to disappear but this DIY HOMEMADE SPA RECIPE feels extremely luxe! It’s going to leave you feeling….well, cool as a cucumber! Enjoy!
